The hospitality at Rectoral De Lestedo was outstanding! We were given a room upgrade and even had someone from the staff drive us to a local laundromat. The food was truly restaurant quality and they catered to my wife's vegetarian diet. The breakfast spread was amazing, we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day!

The location of this charming stone building is just a few miles east of a popular town along the Camino. the attractive main building features beautiful stonework and offers stunning views of the surrounding green valleys. the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. the onsite restaurant provides delicious meals made from local produce, with standout dishes like roast chicken and baked apples. the staff are welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
The WiFi can be a bit patchy due to the building's thick stone walls, but in such a picturesque and remote location, reliable internet access may not be a top priority.

Stayed at a fantastic property run by a welcoming host and kind staff. Our room was lovely and spacious with a good bathroom. The lounge and dining areas were superb with a cozy log fire and great music selection. The food was excellent with a good menu and great wine choices. Breakfast was perfect, especially the fresh scrambled eggs. We felt well taken care of, with the host even taking pictures for us as we left. This was one of the loveliest places we stayed during our Camino journey.
Everything was fantastic! 😊

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. The green park and peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay. The hammam in our bedroom/bathroom was a luxurious touch that added to our overall experience. Despite the wear and tear on some of the furniture, the mattresses were comfortable and we had a good night's rest. The friendly staff were also a highlight of our stay.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this charming property. The three-course dinner was absolutely delicious and was accompanied by a bottle of wine. The attentive staff even provided us with local after-dinner liquors. Breakfast was also great, and the proprietor, Umberto, was a fantastic host. He takes pride in his lodge and it shows.

After a long day of walking the Camino, arriving at Rectoral De Lestedo was like finding a hidden gem. The cozy atmosphere and roaring wood fire instantly warmed me up. The rooms were beautifully decorated with wooden ceiling beams and had stunning views of the surrounding valleys. The highlight of my stay was the dinner - a five-course meal made from local produce, with the roast chicken and baked apples as the standout dishes. Although the WiFi was a bit patchy, it didn't really matter as I was too busy enjoying the company of fellow travelers and the ambiance of this remarkable place. I highly recommend this hotel for a special treat along the Camino or for anyone exploring the backroads of Spain.
